| 🧬 Chemical Group | Dithiocarbamate |
| 💧 Formulation | Wettable Powder (WP) |
| 🎯 Product Type | Broad-Spectrum Contact Fungicide |
| ⚡ Mode of Action | Multi-Site Contact Action |
Antracol is a protective contact fungicide with a unique multi-site mode of action. It does not enter the plant tissue but rather remains on the leaf surface to form a tough chemical barrier.
🛑 Spore Germination Inhibitor: When fungal spores land on the treated leaves, Antracol interferes with their cellular respiration and multiple enzyme pathways simultaneously, completely preventing the spores from germinating and infecting the plant.
⚡ Multi-Site Defense: Because it attacks the fungus at multiple points, fungi are highly unlikely to develop resistance to it.
✅ Dual Action (Protection + Nutrition): Antracol is formulated with easily available Zinc (15.7%). While fighting diseases, it simultaneously corrects Zinc deficiency in the soil, leading to a visible "phytotonic effect" (greener, more vigorous plants and better fruit quality).
🌧️ Superior Rainfastness: Once the spray dries, it forms a fine, highly adhesive layer on the leaf surface that resists washing away in the rain.
🛑 Excellent Resistance Management: Due to its multi-site action, it is the perfect fungicide to use in rotation programs to prevent fungi from developing resistance to systemic fungicides.
🌱 Extremely Crop Safe: Highly compatible and safe for a wide variety of crops, including sensitive fruits and vegetables, at any growth stage.
Standard Mixing Ratio: * 600 to 800 grams per Acre (depending on crop and foliage density)
2.5 to 3 grams per Liter of water
40 to 45 grams per standard 15-Liter Knapsack Sprayer
| 🌿 Crop | 🦠 Target Diseases | ⚖️ Dosage per Acre |
| Apple | Scab | 3 g / Liter of water |
| Potato & Tomato | Early Blight, Late Blight | 600 - 800 g |
| Chilli | Die-back, Leaf Spot | 600 - 800 g |
| Pomegranate | Leaf Spot, Fruit Spot | 3 g / Liter of water |
| Grapes | Downy Mildew | 600 - 800 g |
| Paddy (Rice) | Brown Leaf Spot, Narrow Leaf Spot | 600 - 800 g |
💡 PRO-TIP: Antracol is a preventative contact fungicide. For the absolute best results, it should be sprayed before the disease appears or at the very first sign of favorable disease weather (cloudy, humid conditions).
Mixing: Make a uniform paste by mixing the required amount of Antracol powder with a small quantity of water. Add this paste to the main spray tank containing 150 to 200 liters of clean water per acre and stir well.
Thorough Coverage: Since it is a contact fungicide, complete and uniform coverage of both the upper and lower leaf surfaces is crucial for total protection.
Equipment: Use a knapsack sprayer fitted with a hollow cone nozzle for a fine mist.
Tank Mixing: It is compatible with most commonly used insecticides and plant growth regulators.
Always wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as a mask, gloves, and protective clothing to avoid inhaling the fine powder during mixing.
Spray during the cooler hours of the day (early morning or late afternoon).
Store in a cool, dry place securely out of reach of children, pets, and food items.
